The Source of Our Strength

Genesis 49:24 (ESV)

“Yet his bow remained unmoved; his arms were made agile by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob (from there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel).

After describing the attacks Joseph faced, Jacob explained why Joseph did not fall.

It was not because Joseph was stronger than his enemies, but because “the Mighty One of Jacob” gave him strength.

God upheld Joseph through every trial and remained his Shepherd and his Rock.

Message
Our strength comes from God.

Joseph endured betrayal, slavery, false accusations, and prison, yet he remained faithful because God sustained him.
When Joseph was weak, God gave him the strength to keep going.

The same God who strengthened Joseph is able to strengthen us today.

This teaches us:

* God is the source of our strength.
* God sustains those who trust Him.
* The Lord is our Shepherd and our Rock in every season.

Psalms 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

Application:
Do not rely on your own strength. When you feel weak, turn to God in prayer and trust Him to sustain you.

🙏Prayers

Father, thank You for being my strength, my Shepherd, and my Rock. Help me to depend on You each day and remain faithful through every trial. Amen.

Declaration:
The Lord is my strength. He will sustain me, guide me, and keep me standing through every season.

May God richly bless you.
May God become your ever present Source of Strength.
Shalom.
